JESCO has been operating as a training centre since 1973 where you can attend individual, group and company training courses in driving skills, vehicle control, car safety, skid and brake control, eco-driving, among others. We have also been recognised as a training provider by the Flemish Government for more than 12 years. 1.3. The controller of your personal data is JESCO. A declaration has been made to the Commission for the Protection of Privacy regarding the processing of your personal data.
ARTICLE 2 – WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT ?
2.1. Personal data you communicate to us:
– Category 1, without registration: your IP address, browsing habits and search terms
– Category 2: your profile name, password, e-mail address, login information
– Category 3: when registering for an information request, when registering for an offer request, when subscribing to our newsletter, when confirming your participation in one or more trainings or events, we may collect some or all of the following data: first name and surname, email address, zip code, phone number, age, gender, preferred language and other similar contact data.
– Category 4: via cookies;
– Category 5: when registering your contact and/or address or company data as a result of placing an order or reservation and which are necessary for the proper processing of your order, reservation and/or billing. We also collect data, through third parties such as Atos Worldline, Elavon and Ingenico, that is necessary for electronic purchases and payments such as credit card number and other necessary data from your payment instrument, among others.
2.2. JESCO may collect information from you (Personal Data) in a variety of ways:
a. through the use of cookies (see below);
b. during your registration on and use of the Websites and its webforms;
c. during your registration when participating in one or more training courses
d. during your request for information or a bid proposal and during subsequent communications

ARTICLE 3 – PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
3.1. General purposes:
The JESCO will only use your Personal Data for the following purposes:
– Category 1: the care and improvement of this Website and the inclusion of Personal Data in anonymous statistics, from which the identity of specific individuals or companies cannot be traced, with the legal basis being JESCO’s legitimate interests to continuously improve its Websites and services;
– Category 2: the management of your account on these Websites for the purpose of using our JESCO and website, with the legal basis being the performance of a contract requested by you, and, if indicated by you, also the sending of direct marketing, with the legal basis being your explicit, prior consent;

You acknowledge that if communication or request for deletion of personal data is refused, certain services and products will not be available.

You also have a right to object to the processing of Your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons.

5.7. Automated decisions and profiling:
The processing of Your Personal Data does not include profiling, nor will You be subjected to automated decisions by us.
5.8. Right to file complaint:

ARTICLE 6 – SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
6.1. We have developed security measures adapted at the technical and organizational levels to avoid the destruction, loss, falsification, modification, unauthorized access or inadvertent notification to third parties of personal data collected as well as any other unauthorized processing of this data.
6.2. Under no circumstances can JESCO be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from an erroneous or unlawful use by a third party of the Personal Data.
